Cleaning Technician

Cleaning Technicians help create clean, safe and welcoming environments for the people who use our clients' facilities every day. This is a hands-on role for dependable team members who take pride in quality work and want to build practical skills in professional cleaning and facility services. JSD provides site-specific direction and training so employees can perform their work safely, efficiently and consistently.
What You'll Do
- Clean and maintain assigned areas such as offices, classrooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, common areas and other facility spaces.
- Perform dusting, disinfecting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, spot cleaning, trash and recycling removal, and restroom servicing.
- Restock paper products, soap, liners and other consumable supplies.
- Use approved chemicals, tools, vacuums and cleaning equipment safely and correctly.
- Respond to spills, high-touch cleaning needs and other routine service requests.
- Observe facility conditions and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, supply shortages or unusual conditions.
- Follow JSD safety practices, client procedures, security requirements and site-specific work instructions.
- Provide courteous, professional service around employees, students, visitors, passengers and the public.
