Cleaning Lead

Cleaning Leads combine hands-on custodial expertise with day-to-day team coordination. They help frontline employees stay organized, understand priorities and deliver consistent service throughout an assigned building, floor, zone or shift. This role is an excellent next step for an experienced cleaner who is ready to develop leadership, communication and quality-control skills.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate daily assignments and help ensure priority areas receive appropriate coverage.
- Work alongside Cleaning Technicians and provide hands-on support when workload or service conditions require it.
- Perform routine quality checks and identify work that needs follow-up or correction.
- Help orient and coach employees on cleaning methods, safety practices, equipment use and site expectations.
- Respond to spills, service requests, special events and changing facility needs.
- Monitor supplies and communicate replenishment or equipment needs to supervision.
- Document and escalate relevant quality, safety, staffing or facility concerns.
- Promote teamwork, professionalism, attendance, safe work practices and a positive service culture.
